Audio/sound boost (beats audio)?

I had a search around and couldn't find a similar topic, I'm looking for a way to boost the sound on my san diego, mainly with a headset.

Has anyone tried beats audio? I might try it, but need to backup first. I've tried some of the stuff on the market, but none seem to really work with headsets.

I have root access.

We can't get beats audio on our phones and anyway, beats doesn't improve the volume. It only improves the quality through the speakers
