Guest CurtisAndroidSF2 Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 No longer using the Crescent as I have my HTC One V (bootloader unlocked and running a Custom ROM within 24 hours of purchasing. Sense is awful!) But its great to see this released. Good work. I'll flash it on my Crescent one day to test.
Guest cartwheelbob Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 Cheers Dazzozo, appreciate your work as always :D
Guest gbosh Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 Nice work Dazzozo. Keep it up.The OTA stuff also seems really nice.
Guest OuahOuah Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 Nice work :) Did the OMX patch was included ? So Youtube HQ fixed ? Camera stills have problem ? By the way, what exactly is working and not working with the camera ? Thanks again for the good work :)
Guest Typhus_ Posted January 15, 2013 Report Posted January 15, 2013 (edited) This is really awesome!!! Can't wait to try it out. Thanks for all your hard-work!! P.S. - BTW, in order to test this, I need to make a full backup of my current device, system, rom, apps, etc. I know that's possible with nandroid through recovery. BUT, I have a problem...my 2GB sdcard hasn't got enough space to perform the backup, so...isn't there a way to make a full backup directly to my PC? I think there is, I just don't know how and with what I should perform this operation. Can somebody point me on the right direction? Edited January 15, 2013 by Typhus_
Guest PsYcHoKiLLa Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 The right direction: http://www.amazon.es/SANDISK-Tarjeta-microSDHC-UHS-I-adaptador/dp/B007JTKKOG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358301084&sr=8-1
Guest Fighttack Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Thank you very much for that image. I´ve one question: Int2ext+ does not work, the bootscreen appears and then nothing happens. do you know why? Kind regards :-) edit: Sorry, i found out, that Int2Ext+ has Problems with JB 4.2.1 Edited January 16, 2013 by Fighttack
Guest De@n Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Here's a hacked S2E-JB42.zip by KonstaT Instructions 1. Rename .zip > .apk 2. Install s2e-jb42.apk 3. S2E -> mount as ext4 4. Reboot 5. Configure S2E 6. Reboot Edited January 16, 2013 by De@n
Guest Fighttack Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Thank you very much De@n, but after flashing the rom i try to install the S2E-JB42.zip file, but than the error "Installing update..... Installation aborted" occurs.

Guest Fighttack Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Ok, thanks a lot De@n, it works now! Now i got another Problem....when i want to surf through a website which contains Javascript, the Browser crashes (Dolphin HD and the stock browser, Javascript is enabled). When I turn off Javascript, the browser didn´t crash :wacko:
Guest Typhus_ Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Hello! (again...) The right direction: http://www.amazon.es...58301084&sr=8-1 :D Funny. OK. So, I'm still using ClockworkMod Recovery 5.0.2.7. Is it recommended to flash Dazzozo's ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.0.8 prior to this ROM flashing? My main concern is the backup I need to perform first... Edited January 16, 2013 by Typhus_
Guest PsYcHoKiLLa Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) Not a bad release, Gmail force closes though for some reason. Which updates would you suggest we choose? Nightlies or Stable? Edited January 16, 2013 by PsYcHoKiLLa
Guest cartwheelbob Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) lots of apps force closing for me :( might the javascript issue mentioned above, not sure Edited January 16, 2013 by cartwheelbob
Guest gbosh Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 I have the force closing on some apps as well. The strange thing is that it didn't happen in the build I did on january 10th
Guest auronangel Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Thank you for yoour work ! I'll try it !
Guest Liamness Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Just installed it. Seems absolutely lovely, great job Daz. OTA updates are a particularly nice touch. 4.2.1 is generally a much nicer OS, it's great to see stuff like the new camera apps, and the drop-down settings menu working without a hitch. These are things that will really make using our phones day-to-day much more pleasurable, so thank you. Off to try and find something that will let me use my ext partition for apps, and some way to get google now working. Wish me luck...

Guest Liamness Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 (edited) These two look promising: Mount2SD, and 4.2.1 gapps for armv6. Don't try them yet though, let me be your guinea pig. *edit* A nice interface where you can access settings by just holding your finger down anywhere on the screen.
