Guest Posted June 21, 2013 Report Posted June 21, 2013 Using it currently, and I have to say that I am very pleased by the performance, I'm saying this coming from slimbean... We'll see how the rom performs in the upcoming days.
Guest sedj Posted June 21, 2013 Report Posted June 21, 2013 Without doubt the most fully functional ROM on here, zero bloat and no lag. Having tried them all and a big fan of Baidu ROM this is pretty much faultless. This just works really well given the 512mb this phone is burdened with.
Guest mnirun Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 Is there any chance to deactivate the VOIP button in phone app? In V13, thx. I'm not tested it yet but you can try edit build.prop line by chahging value to false ro.config.hw_support_ipcall=true I've ran stability test on slim v13 for 30 mins and no problem found. Phone is really stable at 1228 MHz.
Guest TangerineTractor Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 That tweak works to remove IP call button.

Do a full nandroid will safe your life.
Guest stanik Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 any extra patches for this like stock plus IE: huawei toggles to standard internal memory to standard cam res standard

But nothing big deal I can live with that .. ;) You need to use a build.prop editor like rom toolbox, or use a root browser and change the permissions.
Guest TangerineTractor Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 any extra patches for this like stock plus IE: huawei toggles to standard internal memory to standard cam res standard There are some add ons on the original Spanish thread linked at the start of this one... use Google translate...
Guest S4crifice Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 You need to use a build.prop editor like rom toolbox, or use a root browser and change the permissions. I used ES Note editor and now I can see that there is false like I edit it an hour ago ..
Guest TangerineTractor Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 I used ES Note editor and now I can see that there is false like I edit it an hour ago .. Have you rebooted? That change definitely worked for me.
Guest S4crifice Posted June 22, 2013 Report Posted June 22, 2013 Sure. I also tried edit second line, config ipcall true to false ... and nothing, still remains the IP button in phone app ... But, as I said, nothing big deal ;)
Guest Northstandhero Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 build.prop is placed at /system/build.prop looking for a line ro.config.hw_support_ipcall=true and then change it to ro.config.hw_support_ipcall=flase Be cateful when edit build.prop. Guest Northstandhero Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 Can anybody recommend a good SMS widget, similar to the stock one . IMO that's all that's missing from this ROM.
Guest jsevi83 Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 Sure. I also tried edit second line, config ipcall true to false ... and nothing, still remains the IP button in phone app ... But, as I said, nothing big deal ;) I made a zip to disable IP calls, just install this from recovery: http://www.solidfiles.com/d/39dc9aebf5/
Guest S4crifice Posted June 23, 2013 Report Posted June 23, 2013 (edited) Thank you!! I'll try ASAP - at the evening, now I must leave, but thx a lot anyway!! :) Thanks a lot!!! :) Works fine now Edited June 23, 2013 by S4crifice
Guest Dovahpig Posted June 29, 2013 Report Posted June 29, 2013 Just flashed this rom after having meijac final rom for almost two months. Must say this is impressive rom, really fast and amazing battery life. Better battery life then in gingerbread. I also removed a couple of things from it to make it even slimmer so after a first boot with all apps i need installed i have 230+mb of free ram. After a while and most apps open around 130. Which is great.
Guest flajko Posted June 29, 2013 Report Posted June 29, 2013 Has anyone tested GB version of this ROM? I found it on that site also. Is it faster then ICS? I'm sorry if this has been answered already!
Guest grox Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 I've installed this rom, it is very good, batterylife is excellent! Only thing I have is that the caller ID is not working.....dor more people have this problem? And how to let this work?
Guest dannchelu Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Try to reinstall . I don't have any problems with this ROM.
Guest classless Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 I'm having problems with 2 camera apss i use. One is barcode scanner from zxing team ("sorry, the android camera encountered a problem. You may need to restart the device") The seccond is Camera on TV from RSC. It FC's the second i push "start service". Also XBMC gives me this error when i run it: "Error! Cannot parse CPU features." Anyone else experiencing similar problems? Will anyone try one of above apps to see if it's a rom problem or if my setup is to blame?
Guest S4crifice Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 I am getting those bugs: - everytime I list in Gmail app for emails and list to the end and other mails starts downloading, app fails ... - Facebook app always runs twice - first it says App does not response ... But still it is the smoothest and most stable rom for G300!
Guest Dovahpig Posted July 1, 2013 Report Posted July 1, 2013 ^^^i dont have those problems, facebook and gmail working fine
Guest flajko Posted July 1, 2013 Report Posted July 1, 2013 Best ROM I ever had, no reboots or FCs! Very stable ROM! :D I love it! :)
