Hey guys I just finished building version 1 of my custom rom, X9 Rom for the ZTE Tureis

http://db.tt/3NWlsNTE

Android 4.2.2

How to install

1. Downlaod the rom and this- http://db.tt/8X7c5Pvv

2. Extract the Files from the 2nd Zip to a folder called image on your SD Card.

3. Go to the Settings app then go to About Phone then System Update, then storage card updates.

4. Press ok and after installation hold Power and Volume Down at the start of the boot.

5. A CWM Screen will appear now you just need to install the rom

6. Enjoy your ZTE Tureis with JellyBean 4.2.2

Bugs

1. When CHARGING and your phone is between 65% to 99% it may show you 20% but when it is 100% you'll see a Full Bar

Do you want to help?

If you do just send me a PM or email me at [email protected]

That is just eyecandy and is not useful at all.

I'm still hacking together a real device config so I can build CM7 and possibly CM9 and CM10 later on.

for cm10 the best place to look for help would be: https://github.com/androidarmv6

as they have this: https://github.com/androidarmv6/android_device_zte_msm7x27-common

and this: https://github.com/androidarmv6/android_kernel_zte_msm7x27

and dont forget this: https://github.com/androidarmv6/proprietary_vendor_zte

so you would just need to follow this: https://code.google.com/p/androidarmv6/ and work from there

and help is available at irc.freenode.net #droidarmv6

I finally ported the Jellybean Status Bar and ICS Gallery app. But sadly it uses a older kernel =( still tryin' to get the 3.0.8+ Kernel from my tab workin' on my Phone .

It's still core Gingerbread isn't it?

I think you shouldn't call your ROM a Jellybean ROM when you are still sticking with Gingerbread. That could confuse people.

Most of the stuff is from ICS and JellyBean but yes still based on Android 2.3. This is just something people can enjoy until you put CM7,9 and 10 on the Tureis
