There is no v4 in this topic.

This is Miui based on cm7.

Miui v5 is based on cm10 from shendu.

It is not meant for our phone, but legendary developer Geno is doing his best to adapt it from a similar huawei device. He released at least 4-5 releases during last month.

Miui v5 is much better than v4, but it is hungry on resources due to lot of bells and whistles it provides.

Oh, so :)

miui2.3(4.0)_kybOK.zip - this "4.0" means 2030 baseband. Strange for us - but chinese folks get it like this:

2.3 = 109808 baseband

4.0 = 2030 baseband

So this miui above is originally cm7 (2.3) release, but it is a release for

2030 baseband (4.0)

And that v5 version is probably ZJL`s own numbering.

Which one is better - I don`t know - there were no major improvements, just fixes, I believe.

You can do some with vol - for call quality...

P.S. Nije los zvuk, malo je jaci. ali kao sto rekoh, doteras ga sa vol - na neki odredjeni dobar nivo, meni je OK, mene vise nervira sto ne radi wifi deljenj, a ako ti to ne smeta, ovaj rom je extra stvarno... :)

VOL- didn't do anything but lower the volume, distortion was still high. I presume that it is same issue as in CM.

All the roms based on CM9/10/10.1 have the same bug, at lest for our phones (G300). I have read some were that there are other models with the same problem...

I think if they resolve the in call bug isue the rom will have more and more devolopers...

Yes, basically they are usable as multimedia devices...but G300 is to weak to be multimedia device...so the CM is pointless for me until call quality is fixed :)

That is why I am waiting for new SIM, so I could try BAIDU roms :)

Yes :) When I first installed bruno Baidu V4, I didn't have internet connection. And I think that chinese roms are best for our phones, they are native :D

I also dont have problems with network and data on CM, but I hate distortion of voice during call. That is why I avoid CM based roms.

Dakok, GB is very good for G300, for example the new Iron Man 3 (Temple Run) doesn't work on ICS or JB but on GB it works, anyway, some apps from the play store are not compatible with GB, for example google chrome it says your device is not compatible?

Is it possible to make it compatible by editing the build.prop? :D if yes can you please tell me how?

Impossible, Chrome uses a new API that is not supported in GB
