Here is a collection of stock firmware for ZTE Blade III. If you find any missing/updated firmware, please post it to this thread. Updates are available at ZTE support site.

Do not use ClockWorkMod to flash stock firmware! You'll find update.zip and installation instructions within each packages. Inside each update.zip you'll also find the stock recovery (recovery.img) compatible with each firmware.

How to restore stock recovery

You can only flash stock firmware updates with a stock recovery image that has the same internal product name. If you're trying to install stock firmware with incompatible stock recovery, you'll get an error message and installations fails (e.g. 'assert failed: getprop("ro.product.name") == "P772N10"'). You'll find stock recovery (recovery.img) compatible with each firmware inside each update.zip.

1. Download stock firmware that you want to install from ZTE support site
2. Unpack stock firmware package with your favourite zip tool (you'll find PDF installation instructions and an actual update.zip)
3. Open update.zip with your favourite zip tool and copy recovery.img to a place you'll find it

There's three alternative ways to flash a recovery image (stock or custom) all described in ClockWorkMod thread.

Fastboot:
1. Change directory to where you saved your recovery.img and execute following in command prompt
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot reboot
ClockWorkMod:
1. Open this template zip with your favourite zip tool and copy recovery.img inside (drag & drop)
2. Flash with ClockWorkMod

Terminal Emulator (or adb shell):
1. Copy recovery.img to the root of your sdcard
su
dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p17

Just a question which one would I use if I was in the UK ?

ClockWorkMod backup that you've made of your stock ROM.

There's no official update packages available for the UK.

Thanks, I'll add these to the OP when I have time to download and check them out. :) There are quite a few other new ones as well.

One of these days there's going to be an official Jelly Bean update buried somewhere in the ZTE site but no one is going to find it. :P I think the very first official gingerbread update for the original Blade stood on the ZTE site for month or two before I happened to download it by accident/luck.

I am stuck on FTM screen...please how can i get recovery mode back?

That is the stock recovery (boot with vol up pressed). It's exactly what you need to install official update packages.

Like it says in the first post of this thread (as well as ClockWorkMod thread), you can't use custom recovery to flash official updates.

Clearly you don't have VIP branded stock recovery in your device. Like it says in the first post:

Do not use ClockWorkMod to flash stock firmware! You'll find update.zip and installation instructions within each packages. Inside each update.zip you'll also find the stock recovery (recovery.img) compatible with each firmware. If necessary, you can flash the stock recovery the same way as you'd flash ClockWorkMod.

Flash the VIP recovery first or install a stock update that matches the stock recovery on your device. There's three different stock ROMs for Serbia (VIP, Telenor, generic non operator branded). What was the stock ROM version that your device was sold with? Have you installed some other stock recovery?

Best way to return to stock is always of course to restore a nandroid backup in ClockWorkMod that you've made of your stock ROM.

I have found on ZTE site some ROM for Blade III Pro. I understand that it is other device.

In build.prop i saw some interesting lines about FM:

#

#System prop to determine availability of

#analog fm path

#

ro.fm.analogpath.supported=true

Does anybody know which radio module is in Blade III PRO?

What's interesting about that? Every Qualcomm device has lines like that in build.prop. So does Blade III.

After I flashed stock recovery i'm not able to apply update from sd (E:signature verification failed)

From stock recovery it's not possible to turn off signature verification and from CWM recovery it's impossible to flash stock rom.

Any idea?
