pink screen when attempting to force update?

You need to place the dload folder on the root of SD card so the path ends somting like this

.../sdcard1/dload/update.app

it is, but it's not working? pink screen.

Are you holding down both volume buttons and then powering up?

If so then try to download the Update.app again, maybe it got corrupted.

Also can you boot into anything, or you now stuck on the pink screen?

Try holding down volume down and press and hold power button. I was getting pink screen when I pressed both volume buttons.

Are you on gingerbread right now?

Can you try another Micro SD card?

There are other options like flashing the ICS baseband in CWM and then flashing ICS to upgrade etc

still a damn pink screen on internal 2GB memory, tried with 2 copies of the download.

So I found another SD card, 4GB, a lot smaller than my normal 16GB, worked first attempt :) I am on stock ics ww b952, thanks for everyones suggestions.
