Guest nightmare56 Posted May 22, 2013 Report Posted May 22, 2013 Hey guys.......this is the solution to root your 2.3.5 official rom (gen3) STEPS- 1.Download the file given below.. 2.Copy it to the SD Card 3.Name the file to update.zip 4.Reboot the phone in recovery mode and select"Install update.zip from SD Card" 5.It you root your device...it will take some time YOU ARE ROOTED NOW!! :D STEPS TO VERIFY ROOT- 1.Reboot your phone from menu and install Superuser,Root checker and Rom Manager 2.Go to Root Checker 3.Touch on Check "VERIFY ROOT ACESS" Just rooted my Dell XCD35/ZTE Blade :D THIS IS NOT MY WORK NOTE- I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR DEVICE <_< COMMENT PLEASE...BE KIND ENOUGHupdate.zip
Guest nmd113 Posted May 29, 2013 Report Posted May 29, 2013 it doesn't work...i can't reboot in recovery... the official 2.3.5 rom has the stock recovery (FTM) ... first tell me how to flash a custom recovery(CLOCKWORKMOD) sorry for my bad english:)
Guest nightmare56 Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 Get into Recovery by pressing VOLUME UP+HOME BUTTON+POWER or VOLUME DOWN+POWER BUTTON for 10-15 secs..unless you get into a menu I did that on my blade,I had 2.3.5 via official update and done that....now my phone is rooted.... I did that in stock recovery :I

Done. Though since i didn't use a lot of horrid fonts and colors, is my way as legit as your way?
Guest nightmare56 Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 I am not sure your method will work.Never tried fastboot methods . The fonts and colours were added so that to make visible /highlight the main points .
