Guest plewis1981 Posted June 6, 2013 Report Posted June 6, 2013 Hi all, i have unlocked my bootloader with my code about a mounth ago and in my excitment did'nt think about network unlocking befor flashing my back up. I was using A 4.2.2 ROM so had no problem untill last night when i tried Slim Bean 4.1.2 and had no network. so i flashed my Hacked IMEI backup ( BIG MISTAKE. BIG!!! ) after the reboot i got a Black screen with a yellow triangle with a message Your boot/recovery image may havean incorrect signeture Please update your image to a signeture official one. I dont no what this means ( apart form, back to square 1 you go. lol ) as i could not boot to recovery i had to force update :( When back on 952 i unlocked my boot loader again. Then i restored mi hacked IMEI to unlock and it relocked my bootloader. I have since unlocked my bootloader AGAIN and left my IMEI alone. So finaly to my question, once the bootloader is unlocked can i re-hack my IMEI or will i need to buy a code. It is not that i am too tight to pay £3.75 but i have no means of making a digital payment :( i am happy to re-hack as i did it before that is if it is safe to do so with an unlocked bootloader. any advice or info would be gratefully recived, Thanks in advance :)
Guest flor90 Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 (edited) So I get the same pink bar without text and it stops at ~30%. I tried to zero my IMEI with OEMINFO-Hack-Tool but I get an error that said that the device is offline, and that I have to check Root permissions. I granted root acces to adb and I enabled USB debugging but still the same. I'm running JB4.2.2. Edited June 8, 2013 by flor90

Guest sharkyo01 Posted June 9, 2013 Report Posted June 9, 2013 How many people have had codes now? Wonder if anybody is interested in working out how there calculated the codes can't be too tricky :P

Guest george109 Posted June 9, 2013 Report Posted June 9, 2013 How many people have had codes now? Wonder if anybody is interested in working out how there calculated the codes can't be too tricky :P It's harder than you think... It could be anything from a random hexadecimal code to a code created from the serial number of the phone. It would be quite cool to make your own password generator though! :D
Guest flor90 Posted June 10, 2013 Report Posted June 10, 2013 Thanks :) I will add this to the tutorial when my laptop is fixed, tomorrow... For nothing. I thank you for this awesome tutorial.

Guest The White Sock Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 I used the mail template to get the unlock code, because I'm running a custom ROM  , and they answered : Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting Huawei device. Please apply the unlock code in our website http://www.huaweidevice.com/worldwide/servicePolicy.do?method=toApplyUnlock . Once again thank you for contacting Huawei device. Best Regards. Huawei Device Customer Care Team. Link wich lead me to the current method wich requires the product ID... damn little filthy coward :angry2:. I just want to know if I get back to a stock ROM, will I get the option to display this ID ? Do I have to relock my bootloader ?

Guest mihairu Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 Reply them that you can't access product id via dialpad and they will send you unlock code :-)
Guest The White Sock Posted June 18, 2013 Report Posted June 18, 2013 Reply them that you can't access product id via dialpad and they will send you unlock code :-) I get back to a stock ROM and get my product ID, so I made the unlock demand by their website... but I'm still waiting for the code... It was a week ago. I think that I will go back to a direct mail but with the product ID in it and if they tell me to pass by their website, I will shut out that I'm still waiting it. By the way, I want to say that I had "the pink bar stuck at 30%" problem with the force update, but I follow the little tuto from flor90 (the zero IMEI method) and it worked ! So thanks a lot !!!

Guest The White Sock Posted June 19, 2013 Report Posted June 19, 2013 They answered really quickly to my previous mail but they told me to use the form on the website. So answered back : "I tried, multiple times in the past weeks, to obtain the code from the form in your website and I still waiting for it. As you answered pretty quickly to my last mail, may I ask you to give it directly to me ?" And that's worked ! Within the hour they gave me the unlock code. So I really recomend to send a mail telling them that you are waiting for too long.
Guest Chris Wyatt Posted June 20, 2013 Report Posted June 20, 2013 (edited) Thank you for this awesome guide. My phone originally had the Voda B960 firmware and I installed a custom ROM with the hacked bootloader. When following this guide I had trouble with the B952 update.app, I think this is because the partitions are different or something (I'm new to this Android dev stuff). But anyway, instead of force installing update.app I installed these 2 using ClockworkMod Recovery: http://www.modaco.co...15-voda-pt-rom/ http://www.modaco.co...stock-ics-roms/ Then carried on the tutorial as normal, and it seemed to do the job! Another thing, when I restored my phone (which had a custom ROM installed), I couldn't boot. I also got round this by installing the custom ROM again as usual, and then restoring everything else except boot from my backup. No guarantees if this will work for you, but it worked for me :). Let me know if you found this useful or if I'm doing anything really stupid here, thanks. Edited June 20, 2013 by Chris Wyatt
Guest Feahnor Posted June 21, 2013 Report Posted June 21, 2013 Thank you a thousand times for this guide. I was tired of the 3G reboots and everything is working nicely after using this guide. Thanks!
