Please clean up some CDMA code too, I do it now with CM10 (not finished yet). There's just too many checks (if phone is cdma, ...) and classes which are loaded to memory every time. And these checks run every time you make or receive a call... I cleaned up almost 30% of the code, and everything is still functional and a bit faster (uses less memory, because there's many unneded variables), apart from CDMA, which we don't have anyways :) and I suggest disabling SOME (not all) logs too.

mm, maybe, CM9 doesnt have THAT much code...

Thanks for working on CM9.

One feature request if it's possible - Keeping the Phone app in memory (like you can the launcher app). The only reason I'm back to jventura's EcoCM7 is coz the Phone app on CM9 takes 3-4 secs to load and sometimes the contacts details don't appear for 2-3 secs when a phone call comes in.

whoa whoa, calm down, these things take time to get fixed, even jventura is trying to fix usb and wif tethering and hes probably much more time involved in android than me. Im still learning xD

That's what happens when you publish intentions instead of an available product! :)

I have not fixed usb and wifi tethering because they are not just applying the patches that KonstaT mentioned in the Eco CM9 thread. It seems to be a little bit more complicated than that, although I don't know how much..

About the other changes you've done, when you get the chance, publish your sources in Github or something like that so everybody can look at them..

And why don't you just use WidgetLocker or similar?? You can easily disable the stock lock screen in CM and use WL instead! It will give you endless possibilities for customization.

Reinventing the whole code for the lockscreen, just to add something that doesn't even work good in 4.2, is more than pointless. Especially when there is an easy alternative. ;)

Yeah, somewhat i think i will change the code myself instead of making patches, maybe that'll work, i will still try it as soon as i have my computer again (it broke down while compiling android xD, maybe its too much for him).

Yeap, im going to an android "cooking" workshop and im learning it at school, so yeah, i think its fun!

I'll post them soon enough in github so they work, but i gotta tell you, most of the "project butter" things are actually build.prop edits and some tweeks in the egl.cfg and adreno_config.txt. all i know its working and without them the phone slows down. A LOT. but yeah, im going to probably change much in the framework, maybe design and reorganize the UI and mayba, just maybe, port a 3.x kernel ( being the last one the hardest xD), but i can't guarantee anything ;)
