Guest Voxpop2011 Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 Following on from the problems I had post-root, the phone is now just an expensive paperweight. I removed root, but the constant restarts continued. I reset the phone today and now it's stuck on the Huawei logo. I can't get the phone to boot into recovery as everytime I use the key combinations, a bright pink screen appears. I suppose having removed root and reset, I could take it back to Vodafone and plead innocence but I don't really want to do this if I can salvage the situation.
Guest radu_sergiu Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 (edited) Is it working combination vol + vol - power long press combination? Is your PC able to see the phone ? Try some basic comands as adb or fastboot ? So, if you can connect it to PC try this http://forums.droidbeans.com/tutorials/fastboot-to-unbrick-your-device/. But first, try to update original firmware [of course if the phone accept vol + vol - power long press]. Good luck ! Edited June 7, 2013 by radu_sergiu
Guest ZolaIII Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 Flash the original firmware from dload folder!
Guest radu_sergiu Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 I was able to flash the original one because i was lucky to had my phone in a kind of loop of updating. Otherwise it was also impossible for me, because none of key combinations (for fastboot, for recovery, for update) was working anymore.only blue or pink screens.
Guest ZolaIII Posted June 7, 2013 Report Posted June 7, 2013 It's not luck it's isolated mehanizam! :-D
