Following on from the problems I had post-root, the phone is now just an expensive paperweight.

I removed root, but the constant restarts continued. I reset the phone today and now it's stuck on the Huawei logo. I can't get the phone to boot into recovery as everytime I use the key combinations, a bright pink screen appears.

I suppose having removed root and reset, I could take it back to Vodafone and plead innocence but I don't really want to do this if I can salvage the situation.

Is it working combination vol + vol - power long press combination? Is your PC able to see the phone ? Try some basic comands as adb or fastboot ?

So, if you can connect it to PC try this http://forums.droidbeans.com/tutorials/fastboot-to-unbrick-your-device/.

But first, try to update original firmware [of course if the phone accept vol + vol - power long press].

Good luck !

I was able to flash the original one because i was lucky to had my phone in a kind of loop of updating. Otherwise it was also impossible for me, because none of key combinations (for fastboot, for recovery, for update) was working anymore.only blue or pink screens.
