**EDIT** Wow I feel like an asshole, I just got an update on Facebook from my mobile provider telling me that their network is down.

So sorry about this, I just installed this ROM yesterday so I freaked out a little when I rebooted my phone after the battery died.

BTW: It happens from time to time that my phone freezes (even happened while calling), it seems like only the screen freezes though, the only solution is pulling out the battery. Any idea why this is? Thanks!

You don't have to pull your battery out every time the phone freezes, you can simply press the power button and the vol down for a few seconds and the phone will reboot! :)

Thanks for the tip! Thought that trick only worked to get the damn thing to boot again if it doesn't feel like it!
