Extracting Huawei's Stock ROM (UPDATE.APP)

Hi guys, I don't know if this is posted already or all of us know's it but I'd post it anyway.

This is the tutorial for Extracting Huawei's Stock ROM which is the UPDATE.APP I hope It can help

for some devlelopers to create more custom roms for our device or debug some sort of things.

I tried it and it worked but I can't seem to find Meta-inf folder. But you could try. Credits goes to xda developers.

I also managed to extract a few firmwares. The method on xda is for an older huawei phone. Would be nice that we can identify the correct files from the update.app. I figured out the name of system.img just by looking at the size ... but it would also be nice to be able to identify the baseband files.

If some people are willing to help i can make a gui tool for this ...
