Ok updated first post, ril is working now, major bugs are fixed and the rom can be used for daily used, if you don't use video playback/recording.

It's probably a lame question, but if video playback doesn't work, then Youtube won't work, am I right?

In was just thinking that, I like the new update they just did, would seem a shame to say buy to it :/ although hopefully josa means the built in video player doesn't work and as YouTube uses its own built in one we wouldn't have to worry, am I right or totally wrong here, I'm just thinking outside the box haha. I only really use my phone to watch movies so I'll be screwed if I'm wrong

Working fine so far. I see what you mean about "milky" screen... if nobody had mentioned it I would have tidy thought it was a little brighter... the brightness and contrast seen much higher... but it's not a show stopper.

Battery life seems fine/good so far.

Video was an issue on the g300 cm builds, so maybe there is someone there who can help?

At first boot:

"Unfortunately, messaging has stopped"

I've got no mobile network.

When placing a call: "Unfortunately, contacts has stopped"

When selecting "mobile networks" in "settings": "Unfortunately,settings has stopped"

When pairing bluetooth headset: "Unfortunately,settings has stopped"

Any ideas? what should I do?

LATER EDIT:

reverted to cwm stock huawei backup

deleted everything

reinstalled CM 10

Everything ok!!!

on my y300-0100

-ril still not working, after a call the provider signal dissappear.

-screen is still whitey

-button backlight doesnt work

-my favorite sslauncher is more smooth on stock rom than this 10.0

( ok, thats my private problem, but i like this launcher. =) )

-video playback is not important to me, so i didnt tried

-swap is ok :D

-speaker and ringer volume is very loud :D

basicly very smooth and quick

thank you for the hard work and the endurance , =) but for me its still not ok for daily use

- For me RIL works fine, 2g/3g data also. After first start I always perform factory data wipe, dalvik cashe, cashe...

- Soft key backlight does not work.

- whitey/milky screen I would not have noticed that it is not mentioned.

- Video recording/playback does not work.

strange that many of the Y300-0100 has milky/white colors, while others dont have...

of course not, when you make a screenshot, because the sofware making the pic inside the system.

but the display shows the milky colors

when I am making a screenshot with cm10, after I watch in the stock, the colors are good of course

its like... a driver issue

but maybe you are lucky and you have no "pastell" colors =)
