Guest Voxpop2011 Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 to me. I have had 'no connection retry' for nearly two weeks now. It's not just me because there are loads of questions about this problem all over the net and none of the suggested fixes work. Incidentally, the gmail app is not working either, but I use this on my desktop anyway. After a factory reset all my apps disappeared and as they were all acquired through the Play store I was frustrated by the non-connection. However, I have managed to rebuild my apps library from Amazon (who knew that I would find so many of them there) and F-Droid. I also found some .apk files using ES file explorer. One of my favourite apps has been 'pulled', but I emailed the developer and he very kindly sent me the .apk file. So I have successfully severed my need of Google play and consigned it to outer darkness. :D All I need to do now is find out how to save all these .apk files to my desktop. Anyone?
Guest Frankish Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Do a titanium backup and save the folder to your desktop?
Guest Voxpop2011 Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 Thanks. I have been using Titanium backup and if I can't work out to save and export to my desktop I will be back.
