Hello, sorry for the urgency but do not know what to do. I have a Huawei g510 and I would like to install the TomTom with the Europe map in the external memory that is in SD memory. I already know that SD has to become the main memory and then I have to install the TomTom. But I would like to know if the programs that were installed in the internal memory will work. Should I unistalli and install them again in the SD? Some info please?

thank you

I have TomTom installed on my SD card and it works OK. It's possible to move some of your downloaded apps to the SD card: Settings> Manage apps> 'swipe across' to DOWNLOADED 'select an app and there is an option (bottom left) called 'Move to SD card'

I thank you for your reply. I'd like to know if the already installed apps and softwares in internal memory work fine after installing TomTom on SD.

Thanks again one.

I think you mean 'non-TomTom' related apps installed in the internal memory? I don't think it makes any difference where they are installed, they will still work.

Yes I mean 'non-TomTom' related apps installed in the internal memory. Why do you tell me "I don't think it makes any differenc"? Do you use Huawei G5? I have read some apss have problems.

I have a G510 and prior to that a G300. What I mean when I say 'I don't think it makes any difference' is that Android will find the app where-ever it is stored. There must be a link to the location stored in the app's icon?

Apps will continue to work regardless of where they are installed. Changing the default storage just means that the new location is where apps will now be installed (unless they only work from internal then they will be installed there)
