However it is running ICS and the startup screen after restart is not the HUAWEI splash. I understand that unlock codes might not work on some ROMS but how can I tell whether I can unlock the one I've got? I've attached a pic of the startup screen and the ABOUT PHONE page. Guest hippy dave Posted August 17, 2013 Report Share Posted August 17, 2013 It's B944 (the end of the build number), and you will be able to unlock it fine. If you want to reassure yourself, put a sim for a different network in, and when it boots up it should ask you for the unlock code. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
