Rooting G510

Hi All,

I've been looking around the forum wanting to find nice simple set of instructions on how to root my G510.

I've seen the spanish video and whilst it seems simple, I can shake the feeling that I'll end up bricking my precious phone.

Is there a guide, like there was for my previous phone (the G300), which will explain the process step by step so I can't cock it up.

My model number is G510-0100 running the UK version firmware B171.

There's a method on xda where you don't have to unlock boatloader but I'm sure its only for the Y300, that how I rooted and it was safe fast and really easy.. In my opinion I don't think there is any major damage being done with the rooting procedure, I think its what you do afterwards that kinda bricks your phone, and in personal experience I haven't really done any irriversable damage to any phone I've modified. Mainly softbricks but that's why you make a back up as soon as you have a custom recovery and even before! But I think the playing with fire feelings all fun and games :)
