Guest Rem1x
Thought we could do with a general discussion area, for things that don't require a whole new topic. I'll start it off with this 'The Story of the Tesco Hudl' - http://techcitynews.com/2013/09/27/the-story-behind-tescos-hudl/ Edited October 2, 2013 by Rem1x

Guest Rem1x
Weird. Playing around with SetCPU lets me force the CPU to 1.6ghz. I thought the highest was 1.5...

Guest glossywhite
Any talk of it getting updated to 4.3? Ah, upgrade addiction syndrome :P Always makes me laugh - whatever version of an OS people have, they're always chasing the next one... instead of just using the current one. I am not saying you are like this, it just made me chuckle, as *some* people get obsessed with it. 4.2.2 is fine, isn't it? Let's face it - when you get 4.3, you'll want the next one in a few months from then. Enjoy what you have, I would say :)
Guest Michealtbh
I bought one anyway (only paid £9 on top of my clubcard vouchers), but I would really like it running 4.3 as it's really for the kids and restricted profiles are essential.Anyone tried Xposed on it yet? I'll just settle for some sort of kid mode app for now, any recommendations? Anyone tried Xposed on it yet?

Anyone tried Xposed on it yet? Using a bunch of Xposed stuff on it, works like a charm :) Not sure about the kids stuff, though. (just tried the PSP emulator, sound off, experimental settings on, ran quite well!) Edited October 3, 2013 by Rem1x

Does this version not have that? It's of no interest to me, but the device did ask if I had kids and whether I wanted to enable restrictions when I started it up. Guest Michealtbh
Restricted profiles were introduced in Android 4.3, might be a third party solution they're using. I'll find out when it gets here

Guest Justice™
Has anyone tried miracast? I tried to get it working with an MK808B but had little success, I haven't investigated further though so it might start working after a few attempts or something. EDIT: Got it to work after rebooting my hudl. WiFi latency is the biggest issue here surprisingly. Edited October 9, 2013 by Justice™
