Boots into Recovery

Hello

 

I have a problem with the USB connector, so I tried to get my Orange San Diego back to stock. But "Flash Orange ICS" failed half way through, and now the phone boots into android recovery (3e). I can also boot into Droidboot. 

 

Can I recover this phone? I have the AIO, and I think it is the latest version, but it is hard to check since the link is dead. 

 

If I select 1 "Fix Bricked Phone", I just get <waiting for device>. Any idea?

Do you have USB debugging enabled?

Make sure with task manager that you don't have any instance of adb running before plugging in your phone.

You do have the Intel drivers installed? Can you see the phone in explorer? The latest Intel drivers are here :- http://software.intel.com/en-us/blogs/2013/04/05/new-intel-usb-driver-v115-for-android-devices-now-supports-windows-8-0

No, it is not visible on the PC. My best guess is that you can upload a new firmware via the SD card slot only. Has anybody tried that?

If it's not visible on the PC because of the USB port then there's a limited amount you can do. Have you tried uninstalling the Intel drivers, rebooting and re-installing?

 

The update.zip would need to be on the internal memory I think. You could get it there via bluetooth or the bump app maybe.
