Dregonfly didn't & it's faster than fastest Linux (Scientific Linux) with same version of GGC. Now considered that BSD is not that much optimized as Linux is & that the future of many core systems don't go that well with monolithic kernel that Thorvald is insisting on.

Clang still lacks open MP support & GGC 9 is bringing a Open MP 2.0 support.

Sorry, but i lol'd on the whole comment. SL is the fastest linux?

And dragonfly is using a Semi monolithic Kernel. Try Minix if you want true Microkernel Capabilities.

I'm out. Discussing wit you wont end well since you clearly not know what Linux was intended for and what BSD was intended for.

I don't discuss with ignorant people either!

& when I clame something I do that based on facts!

The basics about DragonFly structure including kernel!

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/DragonFly_BSD

You can find the last year's big comparatio of Linux distros & BSD at Phoronix & you can compare them with basic 6 tests of DragonFly 3.6.0 from same author on same system @ openbenchmarking.org

Linux & BSD are UNIX like. The OS is intended to be used professionally far that he do best so for much better & faster handling of IO requests especially TCP ones BSD is usually used for web servers. On the other hand how much better it is you can see comparing iOS to Android when you involve graphics from this test:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gfxbench-3-graphics-performance,3743-6.html

So you tel me for what one OS is intended for?

On fusionX can't make it to run on 1046MHz...always resets to 1008...

Overclock works perfectly on my Huawei ascend Y300-0100

I can set with lock trick the 1046Mhz but why can't set without it?

Our phone is not meant to overclock. 1.0Ghz is already heating up like fries and expect to OC. Lucky there no 1.2GHz for y300 devices or the battery temp will be like global warming

MP decision demon is reverting back the CPU parameters & that's the reason why you cannot set frequency's.

I actually propose a cleanup of frequency table & new defaults 1046 max, 98 min & 1008 goes to retirement.

Same for G510 (1243 max & 1206).

Update to v0.61 (check changelog)

@ZolaIII

On y300 for two versions of devices I made universal underclock freq table.

I don't have g510.

Some g510 devices have 61Mhz and 122Mhz freq

Others version have 65Mhz , 98Mhz and 122Mhz.

I don't wanna give min freq as 98Mhz when some devices don't have it ...

320Mhz have all devices.

You can always choose freq what you want and set in on boot.

I got no problems with the overclock as mp-decision is disabled by default. (CM10.1)

@ Victod actually I achieved over 8k long time ago & record is around 8200.

On a 0.59 I whose getting around 7900+.

@ Ceastle I don't like this experiment with transforming deadline in inline IO.

Where from did you got this settings from?

I will do some testings...

How you did that?

By making it more real time per process bat real life performance did suffer.

Making children process run first in SysCtl if you asked about 8000 score.
