Guest DamianJauregui Posted February 19, 2003 Report Share Posted February 19, 2003 Guys, Phone unlocking not working on new Swiss SPVs. mxipcold_oem10.provxml is now called mxipcold_oem_10.provxml and now there's no security policy settings. mxip_oem10.provxml doesn't exist anymore. Seems to have been replaced with this file, mxip_smartfon_1.provxml It has a security policy in it, but nothing happens when you change it. I bought the SPV two weeks ago from PhoneShop [Euro part of CarphoneWarehouse]. Here's the information from the about screen: Microsoft Windows Powered Smartphone 2002 Version 3.0 (Build 12255) Radio Version 1.10.00 Processor: ARM ARM720 ROM update versions: Operator: 1.2.4.3 Manufacturer: 1.2.4.3 Microsoft: 3.0.12255.0 Language: 1.1.6.5 File System: 3.0.122550.0 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest sam Posted February 20, 2003 Report Share Posted February 20, 2003 My SPV has exactly the same versions. I installed the first swiss update in the end of december last year. It's unlocked, but it was not when i bought it... Some orange stuff told me that there will be a further update in week 8, which is now...
