Guest Andy From Ireland Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 Hi there, My Huawei Y300 has gone very laggy from when I first bought it last month. Its rooted, I have moved as much as I can to the SD card, its got Stock ROM on it, I put antutu CPU governor both the minimum and maximum up to full, I have installed cache cleaner and regularly empty cache and close background running programs I dont need. Is there any other ways I can speed it up for general use?
Guest mockingbird Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 Get rid of stock rom and use Fusion X or CM.
Guest Andy From Ireland Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 Get rid of stock rom and use Fusion X or CM. any less drastic option, sticking with stock rom?
Guest newestuser Posted November 12, 2013 Report Posted November 12, 2013 Install latest stock rom and huawei's latest Emotion ui's launcher
Guest mockingbird Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 any less drastic option, sticking with stock rom? It's the only viable option , you can't drive a fast car with crappy fuel.
Guest jimbobvfr400 Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 (edited) It doesn't have to be a drastic option. If you're rooted you have the ability to use Titanium Backup to backup your apps and the apps settings and also, depending on what you did to get root, a custom recovery. The custom recovery will allow you to do a full backup making it risk free pretty much to try a custom ROM, you can also restore the stock backup if you don't like it.
