Firstly, thank you to Asis for building this. It's one of the most aosp rom's evarrr (mainly 'cause they haven't added many features yet ;) ).   This is like nightlies... but daylies ;)   My impressions: I can't explain how smooth this rom is. Reallllly fast. Even the multiwindow thing is fast. Flashed it , here`s a quick review from the short time span it`s been installed on my phone : 

Pros : Speed is actually pretty good , has a month calendar widget , a battery bar around the lockscreen circle , ``bars and menus`` setting for the battery style , brightness controll and stuff like that , has normal keyboard and japanese IME by default , performance setting is complex with cpu speed , memory settings , dalvik settings , advanced settings for sd read ahead ; cpu deep sleep is working.

Cons : Has a dashclock widget that isn`t working , no filemanager so i couldn`t import my contacts from my SD-card but i placed a call and the sound is very good.

 

That`s about in until now , sorry i couldn`t make screenshots to show you but it looks exactly like CM at this stage.

Nope, i flashed with twrp. With 99% of roms, you can flash with twrp or cwm

Seems fast. Didn't think I'd miss the button leds but I did. No option to customise the quick settings panel.

Seemed a bit sticky trying to reconnect to Wi-Fi after a reboot.

Will be worth another look after a few tweaks I guess.

Yeah exactly. OmniROM is really in it's infancy so there are loads of things coming soon to it. 

 

 

Battery sucks a little when doing difficult tasks

The ROM is fine for daily use. Very simple, pretty fast, not many options, a bit laggy with games, battery is mediocre, everything else works. Looking forward to updates :-)

Update today (HTCmania) fixes screenshot and "minor fixes" but still no button LEDs.

Just read this and the multiple windows has sold it to me! The y300 is supported? Checked ROM link and said it was for u8*** (?) Not very good with editing .zip files etc xD
