Guest j92
Is it possible to remove all the tesco apps/widgets and the [T] button?
Guest Lister Of Smeg
Yes..... This is really straight forward too do, and has been covered on these forums. If your new to Android, and these forums... The best place for you to start looking is TabbieDroid, before you get too settled with your Stock rom. Once you goto TabbieDroid, you'll find... 1) You have CWM (ClockWorkMod Recovery) 2) You'll be rooted, so you can remove whatever Apps you don't like 3) All the Apps you dont like (namely Tesco's, inc [T] Launcher) are already removed.... Hope that helps, cheers.... Lister
Guest
......or alternatively, stick with the stock ROM i.e. v1.3 and root via '1-click' kingoapp.com Then feel free to disable what you want, disabling TLauncher.apk will only completely disable the [T] button but not remove it. You then have two options: 1. Install full!screen.apk and loose the button and also gain full screen with corner buttons. 2. Wait to get rid of the now non-funtional [T] soft button, when some of us have figured out what others had already changed in the SystemUI.apk There's many ways to make an omelet. Installing a custom ROM for something so trivial is silly IMO.
