These are video bugs, Did anyone fix it ?

Not only Youtube, same on browsers and other video players.

As in some cm10 roms you need to reboot your phone on a daily basis, it just loses signal if it is on for longer (it will say it has connection though).

Could you try calling him and tell me if you could (I am expecting you didn't reboot your phone yet, and it is on longer than one day).

Thanks for the reply. I didnt tried call to him. I did reset phone and in afternoon some people tried call me and nobody complained. When i got home, i tried call to my phone and always worked :) Now i install new version

It's not only Hynix that can brick the EMMC, my Samsung bricked to the point where it won't power on. Although that was nothing to do with kernel 3.4.

If the flash dies the phone will not respond to anything.

I know that, but easier to find hynix related deaths. An the post's purpose was to show that eMMC can die and if it happens, you can't do anything with it.

I just tried an OTA update from the first release of Dazz's CM11 do the 12/11 nightly, without success. I got to the part where the phone says "Finishing boot" and stays there forever. After a reboot via battery pull it's on bootloop showing the bootanimation. I had to restore it via CWM (always backup!).

Has anyone had success with OTA update? Do I need to install a fresher install manually to be able to do OTA updates?

I had the same problem while updating from BeepBeep Experimental version to nightly.

I had to do wipe dalvik cache, wipe /cache and  and format /system partition. Then I could install with no problems.

Maybe tomorrow I'll update with OTA.. let's see how it works.

Thank, I actually didn't see that, but I don't understand what it means anyways. :(

 

PS: i did a clean install with your gapps, and everything was solved (keyboard AND launcher) with full wipes. Thanks!

 

edit: Somehow, now I don't have any ringtones o_o, this is weird.

There is no OC yet, as nikbos said it is due to the 3.4 kernel, I am not sure of that (as I don't really know how it works).

Maybe daz will add it later on though

you are one of the may people who are getting this, I still didn't see a good solution for it...

(I will update this post if there is any, I am going to look into it in a couple of minutes)

 

BTW, is there any change-log available for the ROM?

Same here - playstore not working after I update to latest nightly. It used to work before.

 

Later edit: I reinstalled gapps and now it works.

You can find a changelog in Cyanogenmod updater. Click that rom name.
