having some trouble editing my previous post as not everything I typed is showing and when i try to edit it only shows up to the link. I am using opara mini,

anyway, I have had no issues at all using the tiny gapps so would highly recommend them.

Hey... BAGS IN CM11 (4.4.2)

1. standart browser very lags.. and if program use loading page via standart browser - scroll lags! (cmupdater too (changelog list very-very lags))

2. Dalvil -> ART don't  work :(

3. if DISABLE search bar in launcher -> DELETE and DETAIL button on drag apps DOESN'T show!!!

4. if enable in launcher ROWS=5 COLUMS=4 and DESABLE search bar - THE flash light widget lamp icon is cuted...

5. (if click the clock in notification bar (show) open time settings.... not calendar??? :((( )

6. no button to desable block screen animation...

7. DOESN'T install apps if app use SD card... (example: traffic racer (1 top in PLAY market))

8. IF OPEN all apps menu and click (dashes buttom (menu sensor button)) on background see buttons (wallpaper, widgets, settings ) Ahha...

9. if enagle in launcher rows = 5 nd colums =4 , the Play Music winget is very bad

What do you mean it doesn't work?

If GApps compatible with ART it means that apps and libs in the GApps package will work with ART. It doesn't change other part of the ROM and apps to work with it.

Yesterday i did a test, the phone was with sign maximum and i did try call to myself (with other phone). Result, said my phone was off. :o
After 2min I received a sms said someone had tried call me. This is a serious bug!

I have formatted everything (including SD) and installed the first nightly with my GApps. I installed every OTA since then except 20131213 (now use 20131214) without any problem.

I tried to update without formatting the sd card, but I did wipe everything else when I installed the first nightly. It work great, it's just that OTA updates get always stuck on the "finish boot" and later (after reboot) give me an infinite boot loop. Do you think that the sd card really needs to be formatted? Or would it be enough to just use your gapps for OTA updates to work?

Did you just flash the stripped gapps via cwm recovery? No wiping at all?

I don't know that the stuck on boot caused by use another GApps or formatting SD. I formatted SD because I wanted a clean install to start with CM11. I have used my own gapps because there was a "bug" in 20131114 GApps that was remove the launcher upon update.

About the bootloop. It was a bug in CM what can cause bootloop. It is fixed in 20131212 nightly.

"dbc0d78 Merge "Fix a bootloop problem when /data/system/usagestats/usage-history.xml is empty. This often occurs after an incomplete reboot/shutdown or battery pull." into cm-11.0"

I just updated with the latest gapps and then did an OTA update to latest nightly (12/14). Worked like a charm. Thank you Rhen and Qwertyu123 (lazy nick of the year?)!

I'm using it for 2 days and definitely it's not for daily use, too much bugs and lags.

I'm using it for 3 days and i'm absolutely loving it, great for daily use!  Camera works great. Opera works great. Amazing battery life.
Just wish the SD thingy would be fixed, because other than that, this rom is one of the smoothest i've tried.

Changes from 2013-12-13:

- Files needed for offline speech recognition in Google Now has been removed. (Saves you 21,8MB in /system in theory. In practice the previous gapps can't fit in the /system so you save only 5,7 MB free space)

You can install it as a separate module if you have min. 22MB free space on /system: http://goo.gl/eYfwwm (works only with en-US locale settings)

- Updater-script now remove /system/lib/libwebrtc_audio_preprocessing.so. It is no longer needed.

 

You can still install Google BrowserSync Addon for if you use stock/AOSP Browser (download: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23252070760975523 )

 

If you have a previous installation and want to remove files needed for offline speech recognition, install this zip and wipe dalvik cache: http://goo.gl/obslBj

The updated GApps doesn't delete the offline speech recognition files (just doesn't install it), so if you install it as an update, please run the above zip first.

You can't use the offline speech anyway. Not enough space. I'll think about how to free up, but we need 17MB more space. It's not a small amount.

No, ROMs with the new kernel don't unlock the phone. In fact, it gets relocked if you had it unlocked by using CM10. My advice: don't be so damn cheap and pay to do a proper unlocking.

SIM unlock.

SIM lock can be set at Settings -> Security -> SIM card lock settings (or similar. I use the phone in Hungarian)
