Guest trumpet-t1 Posted February 24, 2014 Report Posted February 24, 2014 (edited) When my phone lose network in lift and after that I'm outside I cannot unlock my phone. Clicking power button make system buttons light for a moment but screen is black, nothing... not responding. It's anoying when I want to call to some one when I leave work. Does anyone have it? Edit: I know what is wrong with automatic update in my phone. CM downloading zip to 'scard1\cmupdater\file.zip' and want to instal it from 'scard0\cmupdater\file.zip'. On screen I had message 'No such file or directory' or something like this. How to fix that? Edited February 25, 2014 by trumpet-t1

The first problem with network problems and screen on/off problems, I solve it by rebooting my phone and if that doesn't work for you, go too processor settings and change setting to 'on demand' this might fix it, i can't walk you through as i don't have my phone here, when I get home i will ad a step for step description. The second problem might be caused by not installing the rom properly, you might wanna re-install it, I am not sure though as I don't have that problem. I hope this helps!
Guest Razor3000 Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 Is it possible to unlock SIM Network like in CM 10.2?

Guest dalyer Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 Is it possible to unlock SIM Network like in CM 10.2? Some (CM?) ROMs seemed to network unlock G300s for some people but the whole issue was never fully explained or understood here as far as I know. It only costs about €5 to get an unlock code so that might be simpler? http://www.modaco.com/topic/362050-modaco-approved-huawei-unlock-codes-request-here-375-%C2%A3/

I have the same problem with every rom from CM-10.2 or cm-11 Thanks, I know that but I thought is some workaround without doing this :) The first problem with network problems and screen on/off problems, I solve it by rebooting my phone and if that doesn't work for you, go too processor settings and change setting to 'on demand' this might fix it, i can't walk you through as i don't have my phone here, when I get home i will ad a step for step description. Guest Meglestus Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Thanks, I know that but I thought is some workaround without doing this :) But only way to reboot phone is pull out battery. :/ In my opinion that not solving problem I didn't know you were at the point of the power button not working, i thought it just didn't respond. The only way I see you fixing this is by reinstalling the rom (with a complete clean wipe), and reinstall the cwm, if you installed it all again it could be fixed. IF you can acces your phone though, download 'helium' (an backup programm) and backup everything onto your computer. I hope this will fix it, if try an older cwm and cm 10 or something like that.
Guest garricic Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Got problem here.. again... Guest 7arfoush Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Hey, Great support you guys are giving, and a great ROM as well. Last night, I updated the ROM through CM updater, everything was alright, but now the Camera app got broken.. As well as minor problems in the media scan as the Gallery app gave me a message saying that no media is available.. And I beg to differ. Other than that, it's all good.
Guest MetalDroid Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 (edited) Dazz, if you're reading this, please revert this change so that our device supports VOIP calls again (stopped working from that nightly [since Sun Jan 5 worked well]): 7cfd5a8 alsa_sound: Raise priority of VOIP separate input I have no knowledge to compile the rom, does not know what repositories are you using exactly (kernel, rom, etc) for editing. Guest gregorv Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Hello I have on phone clean install of CM 11, everything is working excellent except one thing. Some apps from google play (for example skype) don't want to install. Blue line is running but download is not starting. Do you maybe know how can I fix this problem? Thank you. Kind regards
Guest gregorv Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Interesting, same apps do not install on nexus 5 This probably means that problem is not in the phone?

Thank you. I asked Dazzozo if he can look at this change and he said that this is not the problem. Nor the "hal: Allow enablment of COMPRESS_VOIP without multisession voice" what is also changed in that build. It is drop an error on the screen or in logcat, or just doesn't hear anything?
Guest Meglestus Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 hey i have a question , does ART works ? it works fine ? and what change if i use ART ? thanks anyway and greetings Many people have asked this question by now, I am not sure but I think the answer was that it didn't work.
Guest rhen Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 (edited) Many people have asked this question by now, I am not sure but I think the answer was that it didn't work. I don't know if it still works, but why don't you try it? It worked, but has bugs. But this bugs related to ART and affect all phone with ART enabled. It didn't brick your phone. Do a nandroid backup and try it. A few things you should notice: -With the switch, apps that is moved to the SD card will moved back to the internal storage and the cache will be takes more space. About 15% more. So probably you will be a lack of space on the data partition. When I tried, I had to uninstall many of my apps because of this. -If you have not enough space, it will not work. -The first boot takes a long time and the phone can be really hot. (Eg first I placed it on my bed and it is restarted in middle of the boot process because of this. I placed on the table with a dice below the upper part and it booted fine.) Guest rhen Posted March 3, 2014 Report Posted March 3, 2014 I am sory a type wrong. Kingsoftoffice.apk. Why don't you install it from Play Store? Anyway, I don't see how KingsoftOffice related to jpg files. If I open an attached jpg in gmail app, I can save it with the menu placed in the up-right corner. The jpg than placed in the download directory as I have written.
