Guest VS5 Posted December 18, 2013 Report Posted December 18, 2013 I still don't have any backlights at the bottom. They don't light or press. I downloaded CM9 Kernel Vivacity.zip and installed it last but no result. Is this the right one? Can someone point me to a direct link download please. Thanks in advance VS5
Guest relaxpn Posted December 18, 2013 Report Posted December 18, 2013 ^ Here's rymate1234's CM9.2.2 with the boot.img from Dazzozo's CM9 build for the vivacity. You don't have to flash any kernel after flashing this. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B2RHLIw9RQRYMjVsR0pwN0hTWGs/edit
Guest VS5 Posted December 19, 2013 Report Posted December 19, 2013 Thanks for the link. Buttons now working! Special thanks to Dazzazo and Rymate 1234 for some stirling work. VS5
Guest reedo_17 Posted December 20, 2013 Report Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) Good to see a new rom :) good work rymate1234 Nice to see someone build for blade2 again, I really should release some builds I've made as well. -snip- I actually have actually made a "working" but pretty broken build of CM11, when it's usable I will release it, but a lot of work remains to be done mainly on androidarmv6Good to hear this aswell :)Good work guys Edited February 3, 2014 by reedo_17
Guest OuahOuah Posted December 21, 2013 Report Posted December 21, 2013 No more than usual. 1 or 2 reboot but nothing shitty ;) Battery drain maybe :/
Guest gbosh Posted December 21, 2013 Report Posted December 21, 2013 (edited) I'll take a look at them commits on friday :) And yes, that's the command I used to build the rom. Must've typo'd :/ Anyone wanting a quick fix - just grab a kernel (the boot.img I believe) from a dazzozo CM9 build, shove it in my CM9.2.2 build and flash it. Since there's no kernel changes, it should work. (I take no responsibility for spooked cats, bricked devices or any evil spirits that may be summoned from trying this.) The reason it doesn't work might be that you don't have your kernel source at kernel/zte/zte-kernel-msm7x27 Also the only working ICS kernel for blade2 is at https://github.com/CyanogenMod/zte-kernel-msm7x27/tree/ics On my github at https://github.com/3dsfr3ak/android_kernel_zte_msm7x27/tree/ics you can find a more updated version of the kernel based on C3C0's Also to make P736E=1 work, just use these commits on your device treehttps://github.com/3dsfr3ak/android_device_zte_blade2/commit/a0df14d3dfd96b119cf04d5cf3a14e554df5089fhttps://github.com/3dsfr3ak/android_device_zte_blade2/commit/6e736da23d59d8918260580c07c1b1616e6ac73a and my or Cyanogenmods kernel. Guest gbosh Posted January 28, 2014 Report Posted January 28, 2014 Are you sure you have this rom installed ? It defenitely is a CyanogenMod rom and it does have the features you mentioned, I'm not sure if it has all of them since I haven't used it in some time, but I'm 100% certain it has quicktoggles, is rooted and has performance settings.. Could it be that you have my aosp build installed, instead ?

Guest nico3469 Posted February 3, 2014 Report Posted February 3, 2014 Have you installed the P736E or the P736V version ? Because you need the P736E version for the vivacity and its capacitive buttons

Guest dodgetimmy Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Erm I just installed this rom and on my tmobile vivacity my capacitive buttons are not working? What TPT are you using? Needs to be 220mb on system partition.
Guest reedo_17 Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 What TPT are you using? Needs to be 220mb on system partition.Stock, im not sure what that is..
Guest OuahOuah Posted February 4, 2014 Report Posted February 4, 2014 Not enough. Stock is 160 if I remember well. Max 200 in any case, that's not enough for CM. You can only use a stock ROM, AndroIum or any derivative from stock (FNC) or SlimBean 4.x ...
Guest OuahOuah Posted February 5, 2014 Report Posted February 5, 2014 On a Crescent ? Not sure but can't remember lol. Had to TPT first time I wanted to test a CM ROM on it !
