Deleted emails keep re-appearing

My G510 is on stock rom and I am finding that the emptied recycle bin keeps being re-populated.  Any ideas?

I had this issue. Delete the gmail app data from the app manager. After it syncs with your accounts it will delete OK. It happened to mine after a restore from backup.

Thanks.  I will try this, although I rarely use gmail now relying on my ISP's email account (primary address) and Yahoo for online and casual use.

I haven't tried it with other mail apps but they may work the same.
