If you are wondering what kind of specs you can get for $50 here is the specs of the upcoming Jiayu F1 which will cost $50 in china:

Expect similar specs but without a micro sd card slot.

Sorry, but don't expect similar specs :) the Moto G went well above standard specs on phones costing more second hand a year out of date :D

The moto g didn't go well above standard specs on chinese lesser known branded phones like those from the Manufacturer Jiayu which this phone is by.

True. But as far as big name companies in the US mobile world :) because I am a bloody American and we are the only country that exists xD (Trying to be funny not rude)

Motorola / Google would never use a medatek Soc in there devices, (reason why china phones are so cheap) and the use of any other chip would be rather hard to keep it at $50, you might see a $50 phone from them when the snapdragon 410 is main stream though which the next moto G will more than likely use. 

 

will be using really old tech, something like the huawei G300, but with 3.5inch display and possibly wont have a camera with only 8GB storage
