Better solution then adaway is lucky patchers adblock. It doesnt consume ram and blocks all ads

adaway is no longer on the playstore, blocks ads which is negative to googles revenue. You can search for the APK online as i'm not allowed to post any links for you here.

Thanks. No - there's no prompt. If/when I get my hands on the phone again I'll look at it again.

 

Edit: ah - just realised - I had updated the USB drivers on my laptop but had not rebooted so I think this was the problem because some other USB devices were also not recognized until a reboot. Sorry about that. I'll double check when I have the phone in my hands again but I suspect that this was the problem after all...  :blush:  :)

Im flashing it today to my wifes phone, i trimmed it down 30mb or so. So its a nice light version, with hopefully plenty of ram free :)

My husband has long had the B895-slim-v7 on G300, but the GPS is bad, so I installed this Rom and the battery drains quickly, is this normal? thank you

 

And, The addon Circle Battery B895 runs on this ROM?

Haven't noticed this ROM being worse than others as far as battery goes.

On every ROM battery life was poor if 3G was enabled in my experience so I stuck with 2G as much as possible.

Not sure about the circle battery mod but just do a CWM/nandroid backup, try it and restore if it doesn't work.

That feature wasn't introduced to android till 4.0. You'll need a task killer app.

How do you enable delivery reports for SMS text messages on this ROM?

 

Also, can you block (blacklist) phone numbers on this ROM?
