DIY Dual SIM

Hi,

 

Found myself owning one of these phones recently and I would like to pimp it up some as I live on a border between countries :)

 

I just wondered if it was possible. I have seen the G510 taken apart on some different youtube videos.

 

eg. 

 

It looks like the secondry SIM block is not installed.

There is some changes to the case between this and the U8951D model however they look interchangable.

So any advice, experience or answers welcomed.

 

1) Are the rom and hardware functional to support dual sim function.

2) How is a SIM block installed on top of the board, would it be easier to install another socket type.

3) Which spec block is needed (height etc)

4) Any advice about the casing
