[KK] [Kernel] - SlimKat3/CM 11 [DISCONTINUED] [20-02-2014]

First of all; this is not my work, all credits are to @chil360...

 

Well, Slimkat 3 kernel by @chil360 is compatible with CyanogenMOD 11  :D

 

This Kernel has a lot of governors and I/O schedulers, also many optimizations...

 

All credits going to @chil360. I only made the flasheable file... 

 

THIS ONLY WORKS ON ANDROID 4.4.2 BASED ROMS LIKE SlimKat 3 or CyanogenMOD 11 [KITKAT]...

It should work on all android 4.4.2 based ROMs... test it and tell us  ;)

With the right selection of Governors and Schedulers you can get a performance boost but not so much as Ceastel's Kernel 0.57. Though, Try it yourself and tell us...  ^_^

boot.img contains more than just kernel!

It contains init parameters (*.rc) files.

& you need those packed in from CM base to work on CM based ROMs (PAC,...). :P

So repack it!

That's true but I couldn't repack sucessfully KikKat's ROMs boot.img... When I install it got a boot loop....

 

I use [KITCHEN] Lopicl's Linux Kernel Kitchen v0.002 in Cygwin! With this I can´t repack boot.img from Kk...

 

And with this I got a Boot loop [Tool]

 

any suggestions?

I installed this into G510 CM11 4.4.2 and... a msg always popup. "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped" how to fix this?
