LG were very keen to show off their new G Pro 2 at MWC this year and rightly so. It is a rather good looking device sporting LG's minimalist design language that translates into super thin bezels, fantastically curved edges and buttons on the back. Yes, the G Pro 2 looks just like a G2 and that can only be a good thing.

The back of the G Pro 2 is a big upgrade though with the same rather pleasant matt finish as the red G2. The G Pro 2 comes in Titan, White and Silver. Titan seems to be LG's name for almost black.

Inside the G Pro 2 packs a great punch with a 2.3Ghz Snapdragon 800, 3Gb RAM and 16 or 32Gb of storage. The back is also removable exposing a micro SD slot and 3200mAh battery. In a perfect demonstration of the compromises forced on manufacturers by having a removable back, the battery is less than 10% larger than the G2 despite being a much larger phone as LG were unable to use a stacked battery. Is this a compromise you welcome?

The camera is the same 13Mp shooter found on the G2 and the G Pro 2 launches with Android 4.4.2 on board.
