Guest MJonMoDaCo
OK. rubbish bin or to repair master (probably to hear the same) Well it certainly makes no sense to throw it in the bin if you don't know what's wrong. What's most likely happened, is that he's lost his bootloader. You we're right about one thing: phone is not start You have to enter recovery. Hold down Volume up and then press and hold the Power button with it. Keep holding it for about 10 seconds until any splash screen (maybe android robot picture?) disappears. If you can get into ClockworkMod, then you can recover. But I don't think it'll work - because you've not researched where the CORRECT partition for your swap drive!! The best way to find out? 1. Start Terminal emulator. 2. Type su and accept the next prompt 3. Type ls -l or cat /proc/mounts or mount or df. 4. I think you were after /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 (sdcard block???) In any case, you need to check out the partitions that you have, before you do this. If you can't turn on the phone, ask a professional. You might find it cheaper to buy a new phone. Good luck.
