[KK] [ROM] [CM11] Ultra Rom

An important issue that is forget for all those trying to improve this ROM is that they fail to make this phone to fulfill basic functions, like: improve volume "in-call", signal loss, improve the life of battery, ram etc

 

This model was released 2012, May with a meager specsheet. For better battery and more available RAM, either downgrade to Gingerbread or upgrade to a better device. G300 has lived its life.

Haha, I just checked my Hybrid Rom thread and then this, did you kinda copy my OP layout? I don't mind, thought it was pretty funny actually. Anyway good job. No crashes on this whereas a lot on Matrix.

Probably because of the removed vital apps such as Google play services etc.

That's not vital, that only injuries login in youtube, nothing else.

And it can be installed easily, so, it's impossible 2 have crashes.

Question: how do I make my G300 connect with PC in order to transfer files to SD card? MTP mode is "calculating estimated time to copy files" forever and USB mode causes phone to restart. Any ideas? Baseband 2030, using this ROM and Windows 8 Pro. Thanks in advance.

Thought it was the case that wifi tethering on CM11 only works if WPA is not used or something?

I cannot get wifi to work even though it is switched on.

I noticed this when going to the play store.

Any ideas?

 

Edit:

Sorted now. The solution was to wipe everything in CWM, the key thing being the wipes in mounts and storage aswell as factory reset etc.

I then reinstalled the rom, then rebooted.

Then shut down and back into CWM to install the gapps rom.

Then reboot.

I noticed this was working as the apps began optinising during boot.

All sorted now with working wifi and data.

Great rom by the way.

Yes i find it /dev/block/zram0. How can i expand zram0 size ? With swapper2 im using 256mb swap on class10 sdcard will it make a problem?
