Depends on which add-on you try, graphics addons should work, but zram and swap depends on what the rom already include and the kernel included (last synopsis does not include zram)

This problem doesn't happen with bad flash or something like that... this happens if the data/app is corrupted etc.., just delete data of the app or reinstall it, is not a thing related to the rom

Maybe is because we are using aosp contacts, try to use huawei contacts, you can find them in add-on folder>test, flash it and try again

I think the AOSP contacts does not have the calendar call function to choose the birthday.

After flashing the stock contacts it's working perfectly.
