Guest spanitzer Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 Updated (nightly 11-07). This kernel.
Guest Vule991 Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) Same for me, phone stay on splash screen. CM 10.1 Edited July 12, 2014 by Vule991
Guest fonz93 Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 For CM11 try this: http://www.modaco.com/topic/372567-kernel-y300g510-synopsis-kernel-for-all-cyanogenmod-versions/?p=2218558
Guest Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 (edited) I'm probably going to surrender and stop the work on this butchered piece of crap source code. Please do NOT use the kernel builds of 11-07 / 12-07 because the updated video drivers unfortunately seem to be incompatible to all CM based ROMs. Edited July 12, 2014 by Guest
Guest spanitzer Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 I've reuploaded the 11-07 nightly for CM11: http://www76.zippyshare.com/v/88135499/file.html ...and did disable the SELinux kernel commandline parameter. This was an leftover of an previous selinux kernel build. Dieser Kernel build hat aber noch die aktualisierten Treiber oder?

Guest fonz93 Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 Is this kernel build compatible with cm11? It's for Cm11 only
Guest spanitzer Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 Yes i know. But cm11 doesnt boot with the 11.07 kernel.
Guest fonz93 Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 As moddingg33k said, with CM ROMs (and based) this kernel doesn't work because they don't support updated video drivers, they need changes also in the ROM part
Guest Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 Last fix attempt for CM11: http://www29.zippyshare.com/v/78955056/file.html completely revert all commits related to KGSL (adreno kernel driver) kept only the updated LCD drivers (MSM FrameBuffer & MDP)
Guest spanitzer Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 You remove all updatet KGSL Driver? Du hast alle aktualisierten Grafiktreiber durch die alten ersetzt?
Guest Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 Exactly KGSL -> reverted LCD -> still updated Does it boot now?
Guest spanitzer Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 I put the New kernel to SD Card and flash it. Befor i make a full wipe. Omg my english is very bad.
Guest spanitzer Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 I flashed the new build and i can see the cm11 bootanimation
Guest Vule991 Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 Fonz can you make repack final works kernel for CM 10.1? Thank you.
Guest Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 I fear I will stop kernel development for this device. It's not worth the effort.

Please do NOT use the kernel builds of 11-07 / 12-07 because the updated video drivers unfortunately seem to be incompatible to all CM based ROMs. I'm on carbon ROM 4.4.4, and it boots normally. I downloaded it this morning, so it's the old 11-07 version. For me it's working very well!
Guest Posted July 12, 2014 Report Posted July 12, 2014 For me it was working well, too. Else I wouldn't have uploaded the kernel at all I got no clue why some devices refuse to work with those changes.
