So, after a year of using this great device I am getting a new one tomorrow (Asus Zenfone 5). While thats a great news to me, at the same time I will not be using y300 anymore. So no more custom roms, no more kernel testing, no more tweaking with the device. I am back to stock. This community is by far the best community I have found. Awesome developers, helpful forum members.. everything is at its best here. but time to move to another device. Will miss this community surely.

I will try to be online here and help anywhere I can, but with out the device, i am not sure how much I can help! Still will try my best.

This forum and you guys have made my experience with this device much more pleasing and to be honest it is far better than expected. I hope i could find such strong developer and user base for zf5 (Which is practically not possible).

But will surely miss you guys, and most importantly all these and upcoming developments!

keep pushing the limit, keep thriving, keep developing,

Greetings..

He won't have as much for like you had with this one. On the other hand he won't need things to be patched that much as that atom will drive things fast.

Enjoy it! ;) Mi3 should still be the best option for Rs. 4000+. :P

Zen phones (4,5,6) are coming in UK soon! ;)

i will change it soon too, huawei is terrible i will never buy again they products. i got also a samsung galaxy gio wich have an armv6 800mhz cpu adreno 200 and guess what? is smoother than this thing with dual core cpu.

and that device still got development: http://jenkins.androidarmv6.org/job/cm-ota/

Porozex i had / have Gio also. It`s faster yes , but with gingerbread 2.3.6. Maybe ICS was a little acceptable but JB was already terrible. Also the dreaded battery life and GPS problems. Huawei seems better in this regard to me personally. You are right about development though , people do put a lot of love into that device considering how old it is.

I agree with you. But my hands are tight as I have told you earlier. And also yes, I will not be having as much fun with asus as I had with this huawei. You guys are really great. all the support you give, helped me a lot. Though I am not throwing this phone away. it will be used by someone else. But who knows, I might even get back to this side by side. I love this y300 soo much. specially those moments when i flashed 13 roms one after another just for the heck of it!   :P

Its not really Huaweis blame they did some small silly things bat nothing crucial. Its more alike Qualcomm. Still this where first phones designed carrying msm8225 & where designed in India...

What's your favorite ROM for y300 saurabh

MIUI v5 based on stock rom. The one m80dv from htcmania used to make. but then he dropped it. Currently i am gonna have to say gamer rom_r1 (b200 based) with synopsis kernel!
