My guess - it is a command that sends phone to reboot if BootOnline_1.0.1.6.apk is missing.

Coolpad forum mentions it as a suspicious app

 

Guys from YDSS forum provided a patch

 

or you can flash another EMUI version

or Huawei 3X Play phone port

i will try it in a day or 2.Right now i flashed Lzy's AOSP 4.4.2 from yesterday,lets see how it rolls..!First impression:very smooth and fast,i hope it is bugless..!

didn't know about that suspicious app, don't know if this is the version with the mentioned apk, but there is also a version from our "dancing apple" here, I still didn't had the possibility to try neither of the two, I'll download one of those in the next days and let you know!

yes, i only noticed it after posting the comment :P

I'm trying the "dancing apple" version and I have to say that (after 15 minutes of messing around) I'm pretty much surprised by this rom! First of all,  it's fully multilanguage, there isn't that apk in framework folder, the system is smooth and nice (only 500-600mb of ram used by default), camera seems to be very good (just like or very close to Coolui, better for sure than all AOSPs), volume is perfect, push notifications seem to arrive in real time... it's like a better and translated version of Coolui! I'll let you know if I found some bugs, right now all the basics seem to be ok!

wow, they take those things more seriously than they should! BTW, I still have the Liu Tao/work first/dancing apple version and it seems to perform pretty well! It's very hard that a non-AOSP rom stays in my phone for more than 10 hours, if they continue updating it with latest kernels and drivers from official wcdma releases (hope coolpad increases 3d and sdcard performances) we may have a winner (among 4.4 non-AOSP roms) here!

I'm pretty sure it worked with home button for opened apps, but now it behaves the same way as your... don't know if I was drunk or if the phone is a mutant :P

have you tried Lzy's 4.4.2 native KitKat AOSP ?Its pretty good..!

I found extra info regarding Odd Rabbit forum FIRE EmUI release and suspicious BootOnline_1.0.1.6.apk

 

This apk lethal first said I have discovered the function of

collects phone information

It will gather the current mobile phone number imei mac romid (romid is that each brush pack ID)

So it should be Liutao's work (F.I.R.E. wouldn't agree on that :angry2: )
