Hey...what we have is FireFox Os and we can easily fix it if Dazzozo was here :) It would be easy for him since we have a Y300 sibling with FFO :)

First of all.

Until the date i haven't seen an Ubuntu touch rom to this device " G510/Y300".

Second we cant depend of Dazz to do everything for us , it will be great if he worked on a rom to port for our devices of course.

The main steps is tho create a bootable rom than fixing the bugs, and the first step would be, shrinking the partitions to give the necessay space for the system partition.

Create a custom recovery and partitions.

Next we will need to build the android parts, not the  full system just the necessary parts, like blobs etc.

Then come the OS itself.

Yes please, someone that compile Ubuntu touch for our devices. Many times people ask for it in other android forums, but unfortunately no developers was interested about Ubuntu. If we get "Firefox Os" that is so simple OS for smartphones, why can't we get an Ubuntu touch for huawei y300/g510 ???

Maybe more people that developers can imagine want to give the opportunity to Ubuntu. Thnx all for listen my modest opinion.

Shouldn't we first try and get Lollipop working?

Yes of course. But let me remind you that 99,9% of developers are working exclusively on android. I think is not so important if only one developer compile Ubuntu touch for ourour cellphones.
