3g on both sim slots

I remember i had seen this on some chinese custom rom descriptions but can't find it again.

 

So anyone knows a rom with this hack?Or a way to do it manually or via a patch?

after some searching i can see that it is indeed possible to make both sim slots to support 3g and make the phone dual active even if our phone is dual standby only.I we had a rom that was ported from a similar phone but with dual active sim mode it could be done (for example Lenovo Vibe z k910 supports 3g on both slots).According to some posts i've read it isn't even kernel related http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49980980&postcount=29

with emui unicom  and emui 3.0 .You must set dada sim2  on and set sim2 as 3g,(sim 2 is into  2g slot)

yes,that is correct..!emui offers 3g on both sim cards.

So most honor roms (non emui) should have that function!

we should look out for F1 ports from honor..!

Mtk control works on emui, but not on aosp... Anyone else tried any other method?
