Remote support app needed for Hudl

Hi all.  I really need a remote support app I can get my Dad to install in Spain, so I can troubleshoot from my PC.  I've read teamviewer doesn't work - Is there anything similar I can use?  

 

I don't want to root it at the moment, so would need to be an app that works without root!

 

If anyone can help at all I would really appreciate it.

you'll probably have more luck searching more generally for something to remote control an android device - this forum is fairly quiet and any solution that works on android 4.2 should work on the hudl :)
