From what I found it appears as though the tablet falls into a sleep of death, especially when connected to the charger. This stops it charging and sounding wake up alarms set by the user. To fix follow the guide below. Go to play store and download Safe Charge by Todor Kolev/ Set it running and make sure nothing blocks its services running. This app stops the tablet from falling into sleep of death and enables a charge to reach the battery.
