Guest baniko Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 (edited) i really don't know what's the issue here but i flashed this rom today and already i've had two random reboots. the same thing happened the last time i flashed micromax romIf you have restore Grinify from titanium, try to uninstall and reinstall. Edit: Korekore1 is ...better than me (and my recomendation!). Edited January 12, 2015 by baniko
Guest dakok Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Just to add that it has 800-900 MB free RAM but it stays there all the time. Not like MIUI which drops (for example) from 1.2GB to 200-300MB of free RAM after a while.

Guest dalyer Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 Can you explain the significance of the differences please?
Guest pletko Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 yeah.... i always do the full wipe/wipe cache/wipe dalvik cache before flashing. also, i don't use greenify or titanium backup. no idea. switched to another rom
Guest dakok Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 No post-flashing problems (almost) ever with this way in CWM: - Turn on debugging on your phone, turn off quick boot, turn off phone (some folks remove battery now:)) - Press vol. up and power button together for at least 10 seconds. - You are in CWM now (probably) - Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition - Mounts and storage: Format System, Cache, Data. Go back - Advanced: Wipe Dalvik cache, Reboot recovery - Install zip from SDcard -> choose zip -> your rom (zip) - Reboot to system Leave your phone now for 5 minutes
Guest slime00 Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 during the 5 minute wait, you can also do an apothropaic dance around the phone, it may help :P
Guest dakok Posted January 12, 2015 Report Posted January 12, 2015 (edited) You didn't get it. You don't leave the phone to rest for the phones sake. It is 5 min for meditation about this obsessive-compulsive flashing disorder :D Edited January 12, 2015 by dakok

Guest korekore1 Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) Νot a bad move to freeze ''firmware update'' and ''fota update'' system apps..we don't use them anyway. Seems that Micromax is down the Coolpad road! http://www.xda-developers.com/micromax-remotely-installing-unwanted-apps-on-devices/ Edited January 14, 2015 by korekore1
Guest dalyer Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 Hmmm ... think I'll stick with AOSP (probably maucat) and avoid the Coolpad and Micromax dodgy stuff... Thanks for the heads up.
Guest korekore1 Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 i just froze them, there isn't any other suspicious software.People on xda did a great investigation..!
Guest Milanche78 Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 Only problem I have is with the smart network module for xposed framework, it doesn't turn off the Wi-Fi and also something keeps the sync on, emails and play store are turned off .
Guest dalyer Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 You froze whom??? Firmware update and fota. See above.
Guest Milanche78 Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) What is fota? , I also did something with the update because it was running all the time, but can not remember what, maybe just greenified. Edited January 14, 2015 by Milanche78
Guest dalyer Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 (edited) I presume it's "Firmware OTA" [update] or something. See the link that korekore1 posted. Edited January 14, 2015 by dalyer
Guest korekore1 Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 fotaprovider 1.3 and FWUgrade 1.0
Guest Milanche78 Posted January 15, 2015 Report Posted January 15, 2015 (edited) Where can be found? Ps What about the dialer, I don't like it, the best 1 I have tried was stock from cool u I, it was possible to assign a contact to a specific sim card, also speed dialing was good. Any experience of implanting it to other rims. Edited January 15, 2015 by Milanche78
Guest gst0098 Posted January 17, 2015 Report Posted January 17, 2015 Hello, I'm using this rom since yesterday It looks very useable but I found the lock screen very ugly. Is there a way to return to stock android lock screen? Btw I'm coming from hive ui rom and that was one of the best rom I used. I tried S5 rom too but I don't like too much the flat even if colourful interface.
Guest rista1 Posted January 17, 2015 Report Posted January 17, 2015 Settings, display ,lock screen style, video orb
Guest gst0098 Posted January 17, 2015 Report Posted January 17, 2015 Already tried that. I don't like the videos floating around....
