Guest doveman
I've got a Moto G 2014 Dual SIM and it's working great, except for the fact that often when I press the Home key, Apex takes ages, like 5+ seconds, to open. Sometimes the wallpaper appears quicker and it's just the icons that take that long to draw. I've already got it set to keep it in memory and I'm just running the Stock 4.4.4 ROM but rooted and with TWRP installed (which I only seem to be able to launch via Bootloader - Recovery but that doesn't bother me much. It bothers me more that I can't find any way to mount my encrypted storage with TWRP and thus there's not much I can do with it! http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/help/twrp-encryption-kitkat-t2980559/ ) Has anyone else encountered this issue with Moto G 2014 Dual SIM and Apex? Guest Voxpop2011
I am using Apex with my non-rooted Moto G2 and not experiencing any problems going to home. Edited January 21, 2015 by Voxpop2011
Guest doveman
Hmm, I guess it must be something else I've got installed then, maybe Avast or AFWall. I'll try freezing those and see if it helps.
Guest doveman
Nope, freezing those apps didn't seem to consistently improve things. I wonder if it's the fact my storage is encrypted that's slowing it down so much. Do you have yours encrypted?
