This worked for me after 2 attempts. Oddly when I ran King root it told me it failed and suggested I use the desktop app. I curiously checked for any OTA updates and it told me I looked to be rooted, and terminal confirmed.

Still my 15 attempts but no root! I think kingroot doesn't root in 5.1.1. Kingroot has to add support for 5.1.1

I rooted with Kingroot and worked fine.. Have you tried MobileGo or something?

Same... I clicked oem unlocking option in developer options. But it is same no root

Just got this device, and cannot seem to get temporary root access via kingroot or mobilego. What can i do now?
