Guest Mr Voland Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 Hi, I using swap on my y300, and I wondered how to create multiple swap files but with SAME priority, I use init.d script to start swaps from file in /bin but it gives them priority -1; -2; -3; in order what they have been created I tried adding '-p 1' parameter to swapon command but nothing happened (not even turned on swap) but when I try to use the same command with that parameter from terminal emulator it works. So, how to create multiple swap files with same priority, from startup, not to manually create them every time when I boot up???
Guest wbrambley Posted October 16, 2015 Report Posted October 16, 2015 If I remember correctly, you require an older version of busybox. 1.20.1 maybe. I read the details on one of the script threads here.
