Attempting to ubuntu up the hudl...

Hi all, 

EDIT:   Dont know how to delete this thread?? any passing devs feel free to do so!

 As you all know, the hudls been out for a while now, and I'm not even sure there’s many people working on it?

i for one recently got one from my nephew ( nice one max ;-) )

so been coding ubuntu to it..naturally

for anyone interested

ill post a how to "get where i am now" if there is...

This is very interesting and I'd be keen to see it working, but I don't understand enough to offer any real advice!

I have, however, used Debian Kit to get linux running alongside Android on the hudl; maybe comparing to this could shed some light on the problems?

I've got full mali400 support running now. Its weird bcos if I try  running the unity session tells me I'm missing og_egls image but glxgears tells me its being used?; Yh I've seen linuxdeploy and the like, great apps but I don't want vnc.  Im 80% there with dbus, very nearly got touchscreen working with tslib...lll chuck to getter a tutorial later.
